Manchester United fear losing four players as free agents at the end of the campaign, according to a report.
The Red Devils recently triggered 12-month extensions to Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard's deals, keeping the pair tied down until July 2022.
However, Edinson Cavani, Juan Mata, Sergio Romero and Lee Grant are all set to be out of contract in the next four months.
While goalkeepers Romero and Grant are nothing more than fringe players, the pair's possible departures in the summer would leave United in need of a new third-choice keeper.
The Mirror claims that Mata is unlikely to extend his stay at Old Trafford for a further season, with a move to Serie A his favoured choice.
Cavani's future is less clear, though, as the striker is weighing up whether to remain in England and fight for a starting spot at United, or instead join Argentine giants Boca Juniors. body check tags ::
