Manchester United will reportedly make a decision on the future of Anthony Elanga 'in the next few days'.
The 20-year-old has been a regular for the Red Devils during the 2022-23 campaign, making 18 appearances in all competitions, contributing one assist in the process.
Elanga has made 13 appearances in the Premier League, meanwhile, and has featured in eight of the team's last nine matches in England's top flight.
However, the attacker has only started five times in the league this season, and there has been speculation surrounding a potential loan exit during the January transfer window.
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, writing on CaughtOffside, Man United will make a decision on his future 'in the next few days', as the club weigh up whether it would be beneficial to let him depart on a short-term basis.
Elanga has been with the Red Devils since 2014, progressing through their various youth sides before making his first-team debut in 2021.
The Sweden international has since featured on 47 times for the 20-time English champions, scoring four goals and contributing three assists.
Man United head coach Erik ten Hag has reportedly decided to keep hold of Facundo Pellistri this month, which could lead to Elanga going out on loan.
Everton have been credited with an interest in the Swede, although it is likely that the Red Devils would want assurances over playing time before agreeing to let him depart.
According to talkSPORT, Borussia Dortmund are also firmly in the picture for Elanga, with the Bundesliga giants keen to bring him to German football.
Transfer insider Alex Crook said: "Everton and Bournemouth are among several Premier League clubs who have enquired about Elanga's availability.
"The prospect of a move to the Bundesliga is likely to be a more attractive option for the Sweden international."
Man United have boosted their attacking options this month by bringing in Wout Weghorst on loan from Burnley for the remainder of the campaign.
Jadon Sancho is also believed to be close to returning to first-team action, with the Englishman recently unavailable for selection due to fitness issues. body check tags ::
