Manchester United are reportedly prepared to sell midfielders Donny van de Beek and Nemanja Matic to help fund the potential transfer of West Ham United's Declan Rice.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to recruit a new deep-lying midfielder, to provide more competition for the likes of Fred and Scott McTominay.
According to The Express, the Red Devils are looking to cash in on both Van de Beek and Matic, who have slipped down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
Van de Beek has been heavily linked with a move away from United after failing to nail down a regular place in Solskjaer's starting lineup, following his £40m move last summer.
Matic, meanwhile, has just under two years remaining on his contract and the Red Devils are hoping to offload the 33-year-old before his deal expires.
Van de Beek has featured in only three of United's 10 games across all competitions so far this season, while Matic has played in seven games, starting on three occasions.
Rice remains a primary target for Solskjaer, while Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips is also believed to be on his radar. body check tags ::
