Manchester United have reportedly concluded that it would be beneficial to keep Paul Pogba at Old Trafford.
Pogba has endured a mixed spell at United since rejoining the club in 2016, and the France international has been linked with an exit at the end of the season.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the United hierarchy have considerable reservations about parting ways with Pogba due to his commercial value off the pitch.
The report suggests that United have discovered that they would struggle to replace the finances brought in by the 25-year-old, despite the player likely to cost in excess of £100m if we were to sign for another club.
Pogba's contract expires in 2021, and such developments may lead to United looking to offer the former Juventus man a new deal at some stage in the future.
