Despite United's struggles since his arrival, the 36-year-old has made a huge impression, contributing nine goals from 12 appearances in the Premier League and Champions League.
However, according to the club's latest financial results, the deal to bring Ronaldo back to The Theatre Of Dreams has led to their wage bill increasing by 23.1%.
While Ronaldo is said to earn in excess of £500,000 per week, United have also spent heavily to sign Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho.
