Manchester United reportedly retain an interest in signing Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen.
The North-West giants were linked with the Denmark international earlier in the summer transfer window, only for speculation to subside in recent weeks.
However, according to the Daily Mail, United have requested that they be kept up to date with any developments regarding the future of the playmaker.
Given that Eriksen only has a year remaining on his contract, Spurs are keen to avoid losing one of their most prized assets for nothing at the end of the season.
The Champions League runners-up are known to be keen on Giovani Lo Celso, with any successful pursuit of the Argentine increasing the chances of Eriksen being sold before August 8.
The report claims that Spurs still value Eriksen in the region of £70m.
