Manchester United could sign Juventus duo Douglas Costa and Merih Demiral for a combined fee of £46m this summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are understood to have identified the Turin pair as transfer targets when the window reopens, with Juve keen to bring Paul Pogba back in the opposite direction.
United are reportedly reluctant to have them included directly in any player-plus-cash swap deal for Pogba, but the negotiations could still be linked.
Transfermarkt values the 22-year-old Demiral at £24.3m, while Costa is worth £21.6m - a combined total of £45.9m.
The Red Devils would be hopeful of cutting that fee down even further, though, with a number of clubs being forced into slashing asking prices in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
Demiral has made only five Serie A appearances all season, while Costa has featured 14 times in the top flight in 2019-20.
