Liverpool and Manchester United are reportedly ready to battle it out for the signature of Barcelona winger Pedro.

The Spain international is ready to leave Camp Nou, and both United and the Reds are looking into the possibility of signing him, according to The Mirror.

However, the two clubs are unlikely to be the only sides interested in the World Cup winner, and a move for the talented forward will not materialise until the summer, as Barca are unwilling to sell in the January transfer window.

Barca are currently top of La Liga.
