Lazio's Argentine international midfielder Lucas Biglia could be the subject of a January bid from Manchester United, according to reports.
The 29-year-old joined Lazio from Anderlecht in 2013, and has already made over 50 appearances for the Serie A side.
However, he has turned down an offer of a new contract at the Stadio Olimpico amid a dispute over salary, and is yet to receive a further offer, according to Calciomercato.
The situation has alerted Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal, who may make a move for Biglia in January despite his £17.7m valuation, the report adds.
Biglia, who has 34 caps for his country and was part of the Argentina squad that finished as runners-up at the 2014 World Cup, also counts Independiente and Argentinos Juniors among his previous sides.
