Manchester United have reportedly offered Alexis Sanchez to Spanish giants Real Madrid ahead of the January transfer window.
Recent speculation has suggested that Sanchez is eager to leave Old Trafford just a year after joining from Arsenal, having struggled to settle into both the team and the city.
Paris Saint-Germain are understood to be the Chilean's preferred destination, but the Ligue 1 outfit have reportedly decided to target younger players when the window reopens.
Spanish outlet El Chiringuito now claims that Sanchez has been offered to Madrid, who are still in the market for a replacement to Cristiano Ronaldo.
Sanchez's wage demands could prove to be an issue for the European champions, though, with the 29-year-old currently on £500,000 per week at Old Trafford.
The player, who spent three seasons with Madrid's arch-rivals Barcelona earlier in his career, has scored just four goals in 29 appearances for United.
