Manchester United are reportedly mulling over a move for Porto midfielder Fernando.
The defensive-minded Brazilian has emerged as a target for manager David Moyes, and the Scot is considering making a move before the close of the transfer window, according to The Mirror.
Fernando is said to be valued at around £7m but wouldn't need a work permit to join the champions, and a move may be forthcoming before Friday night's deadline.
United have already added Juan Mata to their ranks this month for a club record £37m.
