Manchester United reportedly plan to send scouts to a number of games this season, tasked with the job of monitoring the development of Leicester City midfielder James Maddison.
The playmaker has been a huge hit at the King Power Stadium since arriving last summer, which has resulted in frequent speculation regarding his long-term future.
After signing Maddison's former teammate Harry Maguire, United have been strongly linked with a future move for the 22-year-old.
According to the Evening Standard, the North-West giants will have scouts present for several Foxes games this season as the consider an £80m deal for the Englishman.
The report suggests that is the fee which United are willing to pay for Maddison, despite the fact that he is yet to make his senior debut on the international scene with England.
Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest in the former Norwich City man.
