Manchester United have reportedly decided to launch another bid for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes over the January transfer window.
United and Tottenham Hotspur were both credited with showing an interest in Fernandes over the summer window, only for the former to opt against making a bid.
Fernandes, who scored 20 goals and claimed 13 assists last season, has since penned a new long-term contract with the club until 2023.
However, according to Goal.com, United are open to making a fresh approach for the 25-year-old this month.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on adding to his midfield options following injuries to both Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay in recent weeks.
The Red Devils came under severe criticism in September for failing to reinforce their midfield options, having sold off Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini over the past year.
