Manchester United are reportedly ready to launch a £14m bid for PSV Eindhoven midfielder Kevin Strootman.
Sir Alex Ferguson has been rumoured to be an admirer of the 22-year-old's abilities following an impressive campaign in the Eredivisie.
Strootman, who is part of the Netherlands' Euro 2012 squad, only moved to the Philips Stadion from Utrecht last summer.
According to The Mirror, the Red Devils will make their move after Strootman returns from duty in Poland and Ukraine.
The defensive midfielder, who has been labelled 'the next Roy Keane', made his international debut against Austria in February of last year and has gone on to win 11 caps.
