Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish has reportedly been informed that he would not be a regular starter at Manchester United.
Having contributed eight goals and six assists in the Premier League this season, Grealish has been heavily linked with a switch to Old Trafford.
However, despite playing a starring role in the West Midlands, it appears that the 24-year-old would have to be content with a different role should he move to the North-West.
According to The Independent, Grealish would be regarded as a squad member, rather than a player who is likely to feature in the first XI each week.
As well as the players who are already in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad, Grealish may also find himself competing with Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho.
If Villa insist on receiving £80m for their most prized asset, that will almost certainly lead to United turning their attention elsewhere.
