Manchester United have reportedly told Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane that he will need to make the first move should he wish to join the Red Devils.
With Jose Mourinho's side set to finish another campaign without a trophy to their name, speculation has been rife regarding Kane's future.
Recent reports suggest that Old Trafford would be the striker's preferred destination, although Jose Mourinho will allegedly not let his star striker depart easily.
According to The Athletic, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side would not turn down the chance to sign Kane, but they have reportedly told the 26-year-old to make his intentions clear before they begin negotiations.
The report also claims that a move could be hindered by strained negotiations in the past between United and Spurs, and the 20-time English champions would allegedly have to fork out £150m for the England captain.
Kane has netted 11 times during the 2019-20 Premier League campaign.
