Manchester United could be closing in on the capture of full-back Jeffrey Schlupp from Leicester City.
The 20-year-old, who can also play as a striker, has been on trial with the former Premier League champions since January and featured in recent matches for United's Under-21 side.
"I think we'll be discussing this week what the next step is," Sky Sports News quotes Leicester manager Nigel Pearson as saying.
"He's done well at United, he's played the last two games that he can play there so clearly it's going to have some effect this week."
Schlupp, who was born in Germany, has one cap for the Ghana national team.
