Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has once again emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United, according to reports.
The Spain international has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in the past, most notably last summer, but he opted to remain at the Bernabeu.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, the Red Devils are now prepared to bid £42m in order to land the 30-year-old centre-back in January.
Ramos has been with Real Madrid since signing from Sevilla in 2005 and has made over 300 appearances for Los Blancos during that time.
