Manchester United are reportedly planning to formalise their interest in Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho as soon as the current season comes to an end.
Sancho has been widely linked with a move back to England this summer, having established himself as one of the brightest prospects in European football since joining Dortmund from Manchester City in 2017.
Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool have all been credited with an interest in the 19-year-old, as have Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid, but Manchester United are thought to be the youngster's preference.
The Telegraph reports that United's executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward plans to make a move for Sancho as early as possible in an attempt to beat other interested parties to his signature.
The Red Devils are willing to offer the England international a £200,000-a-week contract in order to lure him to Old Trafford, although their hopes of securing their number one target could be affected by whether or not they qualify for next season's Champions League.
Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke also claimed recently that Sancho wants to stay at the club and that they have no need to cash in on the £100m-rated teenager.
Sancho has scored 17 goals and registered 18 assists in 33 games for Dortmund across all competitions this season.
