Manchester United are to move for Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric in the summer, according to The Mirror.
The Croatian scored in United's defeat to Jose Mourinho's side in their Champions League clash earlier this week.
Despite his success against the Red Devils, the former Totteham Hotspur man has struggled so far in La Liga scoring only once.
United manager Sir Alex Ferguson did have an interest in Modric before his move to the Bernabeu and is set to re-ignite this by pursuing a move when the season comes to an end.
According to The Mirror, Modric has told friends that he would be interested in joining the current Premier League leaders.
