Manchester United are reportedly still in the market for Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder.
The 30-year-old has been linked with a January move to the Premier League, but Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri confirmed that the club are keen to bring the Dutchman to Italy.
Despite Juve's interest, it is believed that United are prepared to battle it out with the Italians for Sneijder's signature this month, according to La Gazette dello Sport.
Reports have claimed that the Red Devils are focusing on strengthening their defensive areas, with Borussia Dortmund's Mats Hummels being touted as an option, but Sneijder has been linked to United for some time, even prior to Louis van Gaal's arrival as manager.
Southampton are also rumoured to be interested in the midfielder.
