Manchester United have confirmed that they have agreed a deal to sign Atalanta BC winger Amad Traore in January.
The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in Italian football and scored on his Serie A debut for Atalanta last season.
The youngster has made three first-team appearances for the Italian outfit to date, having come through the ranks with Atalanta.
"Manchester United have reached an agreement with Atalanta for the future transfer of Amad Diallo, one of the most exciting young prospects in Italian football," read a statement on the club's official website.
"The 18-year-old Ivorian right-winger has been on the radar of United scouts since 2016, when he was spotted playing at Under-15 level, and the club have been tracking his progress since.
"He will join United at a later date, subject to medical, personal terms and work permit."
Traore becomes United's second confirmed deal of transfer deadline day, with the club having also brought in Alex Telles from Porto.
