Atletico Madrid are reportedly open to selling Joao Felix during the January transfer window but would want a deal in excess of €100m (£85.9m) for the Portugal international.
The 23-year-old is said to be determined to seek pastures new at the start of 2023, with his relationship with the Spanish club's head coach Diego Simeone believed to have broken down.
Felix made a high-profile move to Atletico from Benfica in July 2019, with the Red and Whites paying in the region of £113m to secure his signature.
The attacker has largely found it difficult to make his mark with the club, though, managing just 33 goals and 18 assists in 129 appearances in all competitions.
Felix has only scored four goals and registered three assists in 18 appearances for Atletico this season, but he was in strong form for Portugal at the 2022 World Cup.
The attacker scored once and provided two assists in four outings at the international competition, but he could not prevent Portugal from being eliminated by Morocco in the quarter-finals on Saturday.
Atletico CEO Miguel Angel Gil Marin recently suggested that Felix would be allowed to leave Wanda Metropolitano in January for the right price.
"[Joao Felix] is the biggest bet this club has taken in its history. I personally think he's a top talent, a world-class player," Gil Marin told TVE last month.
"For reasons it isn't worth getting into – the relationship between him and the boss (Simeone), the minutes played, his motivation right now – it makes you think that the reasonable thing is that if there's an option that's good for the player, good for the club, we can look at it.
"I'd love him to stay personally, but I don't think that's the player's idea."
According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Felix is 'open to a new experience' in January and is desperate for Atletico to let him leave during the winter market.
The report claims that the forward's agent Jorge Mendes is in talks with a number of clubs, but Atletico want in excess of €100m (£85.9m) for the former Benfica youngster.
Manchester United continue to be heavily linked with Felix, with the 20-time English champions preparing to sign a new forward in January following Cristiano Ronaldo's exit.
Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Chelsea have also been credited with an interest, although it is unlikely that any of the clubs would be prepared to meet Atletico's current valuation.
Felix recently said that he would be discussing his future with Simeone's side after the World Cup. body check tags ::
