Manchester United are reportedly finding it difficult to attract serious offers for Jadon Sancho.
The 23-year-old has not played for the Red Devils since August due to his falling-out with head coach Erik ten Hag, which stemmed from him being left out against Arsenal at the start of September.
After the clash with the Gunners, Ten Hag said that he had dropped Sancho due to some poor performances in training, but the player insisted that was not the case, claiming that he had been made "a scapegoat".
The ex-Manchester City youngster has been removed from the first-team picture entirely, and he is set to leave the 20-time English champions during the January transfer window.
Juventus have been heavily linked with Sancho, while it has been claimed that Borussia Dortmund are interested in re-signing him next month on an initial loan deal.
However, according to The Sun, Man United are finding it difficult to move him on, with the club yet to receive a serious offer for his services.
The report claims that Sancho's wages, which are thought to be in the region of £350,000 a week, have made it difficult for the club to attract suitors.
RB Leipzig are said to be keen, but the Bundesliga outfit would not be able to afford his salary, while Dortmund are concerned over his lack of fitness, as he has not played since the end of August.
Premier League clubs are said to be showing an interest, but Man United are refusing to entertain the idea of him moving to a domestic rival.
A mid-season departure for Sancho could open up space for the Red Devils to make a January addition, but the club could allegedly be forced to keep him for the second half of the campaign.
The forward has struggled to make his mark for Man United since arriving from Dortmund in the summer of 2021, only managing 12 goals and six assists in 82 appearances.
Ten Hag said last week that Sancho is aware of what he needs to do in order to come back into the first team, telling reporters: "He knows what he has to do. It's up to him.
"So, it's about culture and every player has to match certain standards, and it was about that. So, what will happen, yeah, he knows what he has to do if he wants to return. So, it's up to him."
Barcelona have also been credited with an interest in the Englishman, but it is understood that the Catalan outfit are not planning a move for him in the winter transfer window. body check tags ::
