Mason Greenwood is reportedly fearful for his career, having only received one concrete offer since it was confirmed that he would not be returning to Manchester United.
The 21-year-old had been facing serious criminal charges, but the case against him was dropped in February, meaning that he is free to resume his football career.
Man United had allegedly initially been looking to bring him back before changing their mind due to the public backlash.
The 20-time English champions announced at the start of last week that Greenwood would not be continuing his career with the Red Devils, although his contract, which has another two years left to run, has not been terminated.
A number of clubs have been credited with an interest in the forward, with teams from Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Italy believed to have made initial contact.
However, according to The Sun, Greenwood currently only has one offer on the table, which is from an unnamed club in Albania.
The report claims that the England international had expected to return to Old Trafford, and the club's decision has left him fearful for his career.
Teams in the Championship are said to be keeping a close eye on his situation, but due to the sensitive nature of the initial allegations, a move to another English club is thought to be highly unlikely.
Greenwood has reportedly been left 'devastated' by the news and is now unsure of his next step, with the attacker concerned that he will never have the chance to play in the top leagues again.
Man United head coach Erik ten Hag was asked on multiple occasions about Greenwood during his press conference on Friday but refused to engage in the questions.
In January 2022, following accusations from a woman, Greenwood was arrested on suspicion of rape and assault, and he was then further arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and threats to kill.
The Englishman was also facing charges of attempted rape, engaging in controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, but there is no longer a case against him.
There was allegedly initially serious interest from the Saudi Pro League, but the division are not thought to be prepared to take a chance on Greenwood during a key period in their development.
A loan exit is believed to be a possibility if Man United are able to sell him before the transfer deadline.
