Manchester United are reportedly preparing to offer Juan Mata a new three-year contract.
Mata has scored 42 times and registered 34 assists in 200 appearances for United since joining the 20-time English champions from Chelsea during the 2014 January transfer window.
The Spaniard will see his current deal with the Red Devils expire at the end of the season, and it had been thought that the versatile attacker could move on.
However, according to The Mirror, United are on the verge of presenting Mata with the offer of a new three-year contract amid reported interest from Arsenal and Atletico Madrid.
Mata has scored three times and provided one assist in 14 appearances for United this season.
The 30-year-old played 60 minutes of the club's goalless draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
