Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund have all reportedly displayed their interest in signing Nemanja Matic on a free transfer next summer.
Matic, who joined Manchester United in 2017, has been slowly phased out under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with the Serbian being reduced to just one start in five games this season.
The midfielder's contract expires at the end of this season, meaning that he is free to speak with other clubs from January.
According to Calcio Mercato, the three Italian clubs alongside Dortmund plan to swoop for Matic when the summer transfer window opens next year.
Italy has served as a popular destination for unwanted United players this year, with Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku, Chris Smalling and Matteo Darmian all heading in that direction.
United's midfield options are markedly scarce this season after the club failed to locate replacements for Ander Herrera and Marouane Fellaini over the summer.
