Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe reportedly had a shortlist of four players he wanted the club to sign in the summer transfer window.
Despite being linked with a free transfer to Real Madrid, Mbappe decided to remain in the French capital and sign a new three-year deal with PSG.
Following the contract extension, reports suggested the France international would have greater influence in the club's sporting decisions.
According to The Mirror, Mbappe spoke to PSG football advisor Luis Campos about his desire to sign a new striker who could play alongside him.
The report states that the 23-year-old gave Campos a four-man shortlist that included Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.
Current Barcelona players Robert Lewandowski and Ousmane Dembele were also named, as well as Italy international Gianluca Scamacca, who instead moved to West Ham United.
While none of those on Mbappe's wishlist were signed, Campos has since expressed his frustration with PSG's transfer window, despite the club adding six new players to their squad. body check tags ::
