Manchester United have reportedly signalled their intent to make three new signings during the January transfer window.
After only recording six points from four games over Christmas, United sit 15 points adrift of runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City, but it appears that the North-West giants are prepared to strengthen at the start of 2018.
According to the Daily Mail, a right-back, a left-back and an attacking midfielder are on Jose Mourinho's agenda to boost the club's chances of finishing no lower than second place in the standings.
While Ashley Young has filled in on the right and left side of defence, Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind have been linked with moves away from Old Trafford, leading to Mourinho looking for cover for both Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw.
