Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho will reportedly attempt to tie midfielder Marouane Fellaini down to a new contract before the end of the year.
The Red Devils boss is keen to extend the Belgian's stay at Old Trafford beyond the end of the current season to ward off interest from other clubs, according to ESPN.
Fellaini, who turns 30 in November, is eligible to sign a pre-contract for next season with another team at the turn of the year, unless he enters a new deal with United.
The former Everton star is said to be attracting interest from China and Turkey, but Mourinho is reportedly eager to keep him and will offer him more playing time in the continued absence of Paul Pogba.
Fellaini followed David Moyes from Everton to United in 2013.
