Manchester United manager David Moyes has reportedly decided to radically overhaul the club's scouting system following a frustrating summer in the transfer market.
United failed to sign a string of targets, with bids for a whole host of midfielders including Thiago Alcantara, Cesc Fabregas, Ander Herrera and Sami Khedira all proving unsuccessful.
Moyes eventually completed a deal to be reunited with Belgian international Marouane Fellaini but has been stung by criticism over United's recruitment efforts, according to The Mirror.
The Scot is now believed to want new scouts and more effective negotiators in place as a priority, but will stop short of asking for a director of football at Old Trafford.
United's new chief executive Ed Woodward has also come under fire for his part in a tough summer in the transfer marker for the Red Devils, but his position is said to be safe for the time being.
