Thomas Muller has reportedly had no contact with Manchester United amid suggestions that the English giants are considering a January swoop for the Bayern Munich attacker.
United are believed to have made an initial enquiry to Bayern to determine whether the 30-year-old would be available during the winter transfer window.
Muller is said to be open to the idea of leaving the Allianz Arena, having struggled to earn a starting role for the German champions in the opening months of the 2019-20 campaign.
However, according to Sky Sport Germany, there has been no contact between Muller and United, and the experienced German is not expected to leave Bayern in the middle of the season.
Inter Milan have also been credited with an interest in Muller as the Italian outfit look to boost their forward options following Alexis Sanchez's injury blow.
Inter's Lautaro Martinez, Red Bull Salzburg's Erling Haaland and Lyon's Moussa Dembele have also all been linked with moves to Old Trafford as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to add another player in the final third of the field.
