Juventus vice president Pavel Nedved has said that Cristiano Ronaldo will stay with the Italian giants beyond the end of this summer's transfer window.
The Portugal international has been strongly linked with a move away from Turin in recent weeks, with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain both said to be interested in his signature.
However, Nedved, speaking after his team's 3-1 friendly win over Cesena, has confirmed that the 36-year-old will return to the Serie A outfit for pre-season training on Monday and will remain at the club this summer.
"Ronaldo has been called up for July 26, he'll be back on Monday and will stay with us," Nedved told Sky Italia.
Ronaldo has scored 101 goals in 133 appearances for the Old Lady since arriving from Real Madrid, including 36 strikes in 44 outings in all competitions during the 2020-21 campaign.
The experienced attacker's current deal with Juventus is due to expire next June, and it seems unlikely that he will be penning an extension with the club. body check tags ::
