Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that he is "excited" by the squad that he has managed to assemble at Old Trafford heading into the 2021-22 campaign.
Raphael Varane will soon follow Jadon Sancho to the club this summer, while the Red Devils have boosted their goalkeeping department with the addition of the experienced Tom Heaton.
The 20-time English champions will open their Premier League season at home to Leeds United on Saturday, and the club's head coach has insisted that anything is possible this term in terms of trophies.
"I'm excited by the squad. I don't think anything is beyond these boys. It's just how we fare between now and the end of the season," Solskjaer told Sky Sports News.
"How much sacrifice, how much discipline, how much team camaraderie, how much consistency, how much hard work, blood, sweat and tears - all these qualities and cliches.
"If you want to be the best you have to live like the best, you have to work as the best and perform every three days. It's going to be tough, but it is possible, definitely."
Sancho is expected to be in the squad for Saturday's clash with Leeds, while Varane could also be included if the Frenchman's move from Real Madrid is confirmed in time. body check tags ::
