Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has reportedly decided to run his contract down ahead of a summer move to Premier League rivals Manchester United.
The Germany international is under contract at the Emirates Stadium until the end of the current season, with no new deal having yet been agreed between player and club.
According to The Mirror, Ozil's advisors have made initial enquiries over a potential switch to Man United and the feedback has been deemed "encouraging".
Ozil has previously worked with Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho when the two were at Real Madrid, and the Portuguese is believed to still be a huge fan of the playmaker.
The 28-year-old is also rumoured to be on the radar of Serie A giants Inter Milan.
