Former South Korean international Park Ji-Sung has been offered a new contract at Manchester United.
The midfielder's current deal ends next year but Sir Alex Ferguson said that he hopes the 30-year-old will put pen to paper on the extension.
"He has been offered a new contract, yes," said Ferguson. "His career at United has been nothing but excellent.
"I'm sure he'll accept the new offer, and tie himself to the club for the next two years."
Park signed for £4m from PSV Eindhoven in 2005 and has gone on to win nine major honours at United.
