Manchester United are reportedly at risk of losing Brazilian youngster Andreas Pereira after failing to open talks with the player over a new contract.
The midfielder, who joined the Red Devils from PSV Eindhoven two years ago, will be allowed to talk to other clubs in the New Year when he enters the final six months of his current deal.
According to the Daily Mail, United's hierarchy are yet to speak to the teenager's representatives about extending his stay at Old Trafford, with the club facing a similar situation to when they lost French international Paul Pogba on a free transfer in 2012.
Pereira was part of the Red Devils team that lost 4-0 to MK Dons in the League Cup earlier this month.
