Kalvin Phillips is reportedly contemplating a summer exit from Leeds United even if they avoid relegation from the Premier League.
The 26-year-old has been strongly linked with a move away from Elland Road, with Premier League quartet Manchester United, Aston Villa, Newcastle United and West Ham United all allegedly keeping tabs on the midfielder.
According to Football Insider, Phillips believes this summer is the right moment for him to make a big-money move elsewhere and he is prepared to leave the club even if they maintain their top-flight status.
The report adds that the Yorkshireman is yet to agree terms over a new contract, with his current deal at Elland Road set to expire in June 2024.
Villa are believed to be the current frontrunners for Phillips's signature, with Steven Gerrard keen to bolster his midfield options this summer.
Since making his Leeds debut in 2015, Phillips has featured in 232 games for his boyhood club across all competitions, including 18 Premier League appearances this season. body check tags ::
