Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has reportedly held two phone conversations with Real Madrid in an attempt to pave the way for the Manchester United midfielder to swap clubs in the summer.
The France international admitted earlier this week that playing for Real is a "dream" of his - comments that were welcomed by Zinedine Zidane.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday's clash against bottom side Huesca, Zidane did little to play down a move for Pogba, hailing him as "a different kind of player".
Spanish outlet Marca claims that the wheels are already in motion for an end-of-season transfer as Raiola has been in contact with Real on a couple of occasions.
Los Blancos are said to be willing to match Pogba's current salary, but United will not sanction his move unless a large sum is handed over, with the 26-year-old under contract until 2022.
