Paris Saint-Germain are expected to make a formal approach for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba imminently, according to a report.
The World Cup-winning Frenchman is believed to have turned down the opportunity to extend his Old Trafford contract, meaning that the Red Devils are under pressure to sell him this summer.
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains optimistic that Pogba will stay in Manchester for the 2021-22 season, but Red Devils chiefs are thought to be bracing themselves for a bid from PSG.
According to Sky Sports News, Les Parisiens are set to come forward with an official offer "in the near future" and have already touched base with his representatives.
Solskjaer has affirmed that Pogba's entourage are in contact with the club over the possibility of a new contract, but as things stand the ex-Juventus man can walk away for free in 2022.
Pogba struggled with injury for large chunks of the 2019-20 season, but he became a key player under Solskjaer last term with six goals and 10 assists from 41 appearances in all competitions. body check tags ::
