Manchester United defender Rafael has dismissed the notion that he could quit the English champions in favour of a move to Corinthians.
Reports emanating from South America have recently suggested that the 23-year-old could leave Old Trafford for the Brazilian giants at the end of the season.
The right-back's absence from Brazil's national team has been touted as a potential motive for Rafael's reported desire to return to his homeland but, speaking to Lancenet the player himself has insisted that he has no intentions on leaving the Red Devils.
"I am not thinking about leaving Manchester United, especially since I did well last season.
"There is no reason to leave now, I am playing here, I am a starter and I don't intend to return to Brazil."
The player's agent, Cassiano Pereira, has previously poured cold water on the speculation linking his client with a move to Corinthians.
