Real Madrid have dismissed speculation that they are interested in signing Adrien Rabiot from Paris Saint-Germain this summer, according to a report.
Rabiot has been frozen out at PSG after refusing to sign a new contract, with his current deal expiring at the end of this season.
A number of Europe's biggest clubs have been linked with signing the 24-year-old, but he is yet to agree a deal and as things stand will be a free agent when the transfer window reopens.
Recent reports suggested that Rabiot had turned down a move to Liverpool in favour of joining Real Madrid, with whom he was understood to have a verbal agreement.
However, Marca claims that those reports are false and that Madrid are not even in the running for his signature.
The news will come as a boost to Liverpool, while the likes of Manchester United, Barcelona and Arsenal have also been credited with an interest in the midfielder, who has not featured for PSG since December.
