Real Madrid are keen on signing Manchester United attacker Alejandro Garnacho at some stage in the future, according to a report.

Real Madrid reportedly have a long-term interest in Manchester United attacker Alejandro Garnacho.

The 19-year-old made the move to the Red Devils from Atletico Madrid in 2020, and he has now featured on 39 occasions for their first team, scoring five goals and registering five assists in the process.

Garnacho signed a new long-term deal at Old Trafford earlier this summer, with his current terms due to run until June 2028, reflecting the confidence that Man United have in him.

The Argentina international has featured in three of Man United's four Premier League games this season, starting against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur before appearing off the bench at Arsenal.

Garnacho thought that he had sent his side ahead in the latter stages of the game at the Emirates Stadium last time out, but the forward's goal was ruled just offside.

The attacker is currently preparing for Man United's next league encounter, which comes against Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon.

Garnacho is then set to be a part of the squad that heads to Munich for next week's Champions League group-stage opener against Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.

According to Fichajes, Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on the forward, viewing him as one of the best young talents in world football.

The report claims that the capital giants are aware that it will be difficult to sign Garnacho in the near future due to his contract situation, but the La Liga side are prepared to be patient.

Real Madrid's transfer chief Juni Calafat has allegedly been asked to keep a close eye on any developments when it comes to the attacker's future.

Garnacho made two appearances for the Red Devils during the 2021-22 campaign before fully making the breakthrough into the first team in 2022-23.

The South American ended last season with five goals and five assists in 34 appearances, while he is also set to play an important role during the current season.

Garnacho was involved for Argentina during the recent international break, featuring as a late substitute in the World Cup qualifier against Bolivia on September 12.

The forward, who was born in Madrid, started his youth career with Getafe before moving to Atletico in 2015, spending five years in their academy ahead of a switch to Manchester. body check tags ::
