Leicester City midfielder James Maddison has allegedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Real Madrid.
Over the past few months, Maddison has been linked with several top Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
The 22-year-old's stock rose higher at the weekend as he netted against Liverpool at Anfield, taking his tally to nine goals from 43 Premier League outings since joining the Foxes in 2018.
According to reports in Spain, Real have started to take notice of the Englishman's performances, leaving him under consideration for the upcoming transfer windows.
However, the report adds that Real are yet to make any contact with Maddison or his representatives as they continue to contemplate moves for other targets.
Maddison still has just under four years remaining on his contract at the King Power Stadium.
