Real Madrid are reportedly preparing to make an opening offer of £22m for Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.
The Red Devils shot-stopper has been repeatedly linked with a summer switch back to the Spanish capital, with Los Blancos keen to tie up a deal for the ex-Atletico Madrid star.
A recent report claimed that Real's current first choice, Iker Casillas, has agreed to move on from the 10-time European champions, and the La Liga giants' opening gambit for De Gea will be at around £22m, according to the Daily Mail.
United have been linked with a move for Tottenham Hotspur's Hugo Lloris should De Gea depart, and the France international is said to be open to a move to Old Trafford.
