Real Madrid have reportedly made an enquiry over the availability of Manchester United's Robin van Persie.
After exiting the Champions League earlier this week, the Spanish club are in the market to strengthen their striking options, with Javier Hernandez looking unlikely to secure a permanent move to the Bernabeu.
Rumours are suggesting that Carlo Ancelotti is now targeting United's Dutch striker, who has failed to cement a place in Louis van Gaal's starting XI, according to Goal.com.
Van Persie also only has one year left on his current deal, which expires in the summer of 2016, valuing him roughly at £12m.
The former Arsenal striker has made 26 appearances this season, scoring just 10 goals for the Red Devils.
