Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez has reportedly rejected interest from Manchester United as he only has eyes on a reunion with Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
The Citizens are said to be deliberating whether to make a £25m approach for the Chile international this month or wait until the summer when he will become available for free.
United attempted to pounce on their rivals' uncertainty by tabling an offer of their own on Thursday, which included £25m upfront plus flop midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
According to The Sun, however, there is no chance of the player-plus-cash transfer going through as Sanchez has snubbed Jose Mourinho's side.
The report suggests that Arsenal will instead continue to hold out for £35m from City, who are said to have already agreed terms on a £275,000-a-week contract with Sanchez.
