Report: Radamel Falcao en route to Manchester

Monaco forward Radamel Falcao has reportedly boarded a plane en route to England ahead of a season-long loan move to Manchester United.

Radamel Falcao has reportedly boarded a plane which will take him to the North of England ahead of a season-long loan move to Manchester United.

United were not believed to be interested in signing the Colombian from Monaco despite his availability this summer, but the former Premier League champions moved quickly to agree a deal with the French side this morning.

While this is unconfirmed, it is understood that the striker will soon be en route to Manchester, where he will undergo a medical with United before signing on the dotted line.

United can reportedly purchase the 28-year-old on a permanent deal next summer.
