Inter Milan will reportedly target Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic in January with the midfielder currently struggling for game time under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The 31-year-old Serbia international has made just three Premier League appearances this season and would be reunited with Antonio Conte at Inter if a deal was completed.
According to The Telegraph, Matic has emerged as a target because of the injury crisis currently impacting the Inter squad, with Stefano Sensi, Nicolo Barella and Roberto Gagliardini all facing time on the sidelines.
The report adds that Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has also been discussed as a potential option for the Milan club.
Conte's side have already recruited both Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku from the Manchester club this season.
Currently, Inter sit second in Serie A level on points with champions Juventus.
