Manchester United have reportedly held talks with the agent of Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez, who is said to be unhappy at the Bernabeu.
The Colombian appeared to take a swipe at Los Blancos boss Rafael Benitez at the weekend after scoring in his country's 1-1 draw with Chile on Thursday.
It is understood that the 24-year-old is unhappy that Benitez has held him back in recent weeks after returning from a thigh problem.
According to Fichajes.net, Man United have met with James's agent Jorge Mendes and made it clear that they would be interested in signing the attacker.
James joined Real Madrid from AS Monaco in the summer of 2014 and netted 17 times in 46 games during his first season in the Spanish capital.
